- I belong to a small village in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. In 2001, I did my post graduation in rural economics and farm management from Karnataka University, Dharwad. For the last eight years, I have been working with development organizations in the areas of: project management, field inspection and assessment, surveys and research and statistical analysis. This work has primarily been completed in the areas of education and health, in both urban and rural areas. I have traveled extensively in different locations of North Karnataka and well-versed in the culture and life patterns of various types of people. I did my fellowship program recently from Deshpande Foundation. At present, I am working in RAPID(Rehabilitative Assistance for People in Distress)as a Program Officer.
